Black is Beautiful

(Maxi dress/ H&M faux fur gloves/ AA Hat/ Necklace from travels in Barcelona/ L.A.M.B wedges)

Excuse the mean face in the first photo. I was assisting in another photoshoot and these were random shots taken of me just standing around. And at this moment, (Drum roll please) let me give kudos to all the lovely models who do their thing in front of the camera cause DAMN...it is not easy. I've had to be in front of the camera more than ever recently due to this blog, and am definitely not a pro and feel like a geek posing but I'm working on it.heehee

Orange Bang

First Outfit (Orange dress/ Vintage sweater/ Santee alley wedges) Second Outfit (Heather grey dress/ Poncho/ Floppy hat/ Ralph Lauren Clogs)

I purchased the heather grey dress at a local boutique first, and then felt like I was in the Halloween spirit so I went back to buy the orange one too. ("You look like a pumpkin Bi*ch)haha!! Anyone know what movie that's from?? SPOILER ALERT!! SPOILER ALERT!! No Strings Attached starring no other than Natalie Portman(LOVE HER) Anyway..I don't own many orange colored pieces, but decided to go for it just because I absolutely love the cut of this dress. Totally into the shorter hem in front, and longer hem in back. It can be worn on its own to show off the razor-cut back OR layered with other tops for a hobo-chic style.

All I know is I was born naked to be covered up with some amazing fur/faux fur pieces. My wardrobe would be so incomplete without these warm fuzzies:) Putting on a piece of fur definitely makes a statement and kicks up your outfit a few notches..from fur snoods, collars, gloves, shoes...you name it...IT'S FUR-GALORE!!!!!! With faux fur pieces being sold at low costs and at almost any retail store, there is NO excuse for not owning a heavenly piece. HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

The weather is still a bit bipolar but I must say..I still love it. Everyone knows I love me some sunshine, but who also doesn't love the cold nights to cuddle up:) **Hugs to ALL**

Remembering Steve Jobs 1955-2011

What can I say about this brilliant, creative, inspiring GENIUS that you all don't already know!?! He is definitely the man I owe for making life easier on my not so techie savvy self. But besides that, this man is truly inspirational and shares an amazing story we all can learn from. I received an email from my mother back in April that had the subject, "Interesting story" so I continued to click on the link, http://news.stanford.edu/news/2005/june15/jobs-061505.html and it was the first time I got a glimpse into Steve Jobs' personal life. My mother sends me countless inspirational emails, but this one definitely hit me in a different way because there is something so magnetizing about a success story that holds a bit of strife that is overcome through such strength and motivation. Steve Jobs was not only a visionary innovator for Apple, but a man who represents stepping out of the box, pushing the limits, and not allowing for any excuse for an individual to excel.

"Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."

Just Can't Get Enough...

(Vintage fur capelet/ Tibi bow-tie blouse/ Marc Jacobs high-waisted wide leg jeans)

On a day filled with endless errands, I can always count on my high wrapped bun, high- waisted jeans, and of course my vintage fur to add some spice in my life.
