Summer Days Winding Down

(UO Tank/ F21 Bikini Top/ Favorite Green Beanie/ Boots from Travels to Barcelona)

It is no surprise that I am a seafood junkie. One of my favorite spots is Captain Kidd's in Redondo Beach. I grew up in Hawthorne, CA and this was one of the places I felt rewarded going to as a kid. Fun Factory still remains filled with arcade games, but I mainly go for the fresh live crab. Such a lovely treat to my bellaaay:)

Dermalogica

So here's another round of some facial cleansers I've been using for years. I have a friend that gets me these products for wholesale, so buying the professional size bottles is more bang for your buck & keeps me stocked for months. Dermalogica is a brand used by many estheticians and includes many different lines according to your skin type.
My regular purchases are
1. Precleanse- A light weight Olive and Apricot Kernel-based cleansing oil, fortified with Kukui nut, Borage Seed and Rice Bran oils, that gently liquefies sebum and oil-based debris from the skin's surface. Should be followed with prescribed Dermalogica cleanser.
2.Clearing Skin Wash- A naturally-foaming cleanser that helps control breakouts comedones, and excess surface oils.
3. Dermal Clay Cleanser- Water soluble Bentonite and Kaolin clays combine with purifying botanical extracts and refreshing Menthol to remove excess oils and refine skin's texture. Gives the skin and extra cleanse & love the minty feel.
4.Oil Free Matte Block SPF 20-An ultra-sheer,weightless lotion that provides UVA and UVB protection while absorbing excess oil from skin's surface.
5.Multivitamin Power Firm- Let me first say this is the first time I will be trying this product. I've revealed how I've been obsessing over anti-aging eye creams & saw good reviews on this. Totally didn't look at the price sheet because I knew I was getting a deal with these wholesale prices..but geez, had no idea it was still going to cost me $60 with the wholesale price.lesson learned to check price sheets. Lets hope it works wonders:)

P.M. Regimen

Time to share some more beauty secrets. I shared in previous posts how I am starting to be obsessed with changing my face products to focus on hydration and anti-wrinkle wonder creams. If in your teens to early 20s, you basically should just keep a regular habit of cleansing the face with no real focus on problem areas(Unless you have acne, which oh boy...I had my fair share of them red dots..but don't worry I have a product that helps with those bad boys) From late 20s to early 30s, your face cleansing regimen should change to creams that prevent wrinkles to minimize appearance of lines. By the way, can you all guess my age?? (Curious what you all think? Which hopefully this question doesn't bite me in my ass)

Products are most effective after showering..probably due to the steam opening up pores, so I typically shower again at night or at least rinse off while I wash my face. I spray Dermalogica multi-active toner to bring the ph levels back to where it's supposed to be. I just started to use StriVectin for anti-wrinkle purposes. I heard great things about this product from my mother's friends, who all have great skin. My mom decided to purchase it from Costco since they were having a promotion..Normally $144.99 but after the discount it was about $100.00 for two bottles with an additional eye cream. And of course my product obsession caused me to steal the extra bottle from my momma dearest:) I dab Clinique Moisture surge just around the eyes to give extra hydration to any lines. And lastly, I use Retin-A Micro, which must be prescribed by a doctor. I've been using this for what feels like all my life to help zap acne and also helps to prevent wrinkles. As you get older, the skin loses its elasticity and collagen. It takes a longer time to exfoliate to produce new skin so Retin-A helps to increase skin cell turnover. AND PLEASE DON"T FORGET:SUNBLOCK, SUNBLOCK, SUNBLOCK in the A.M.!!!! :)
